Just Got Home...

... From seeing Stevie Nicks and Rod Stewart at Madison Square Garden.
We were about 20' off the stage dead center.
Not a huge Stevie or Rod fan but a damn great show.
It's humbling to watch some real pro's work. Seems so effortless, kind of like watching someone (not Bapu) tie their shoes.
It's nice to see people that have been performing as long as they have, still pump out the songs as if it was the first time playing them live.
Very impressed.

I've never seen a Rod Stewart gig that wasn't pure good clean fun.

I used to take my Mother to see him regularly as she was a big fan and I always enjoyed the party atmosphere he'd create. An added bonus was the ratio of women to men there was always about 4:1.

She passed out one time, I'm sure it was just to get backstage...lol.  It worked though as he comforted her after the show.

lol. I had my hands on one of the soccer balls he kicks around but it got away from me.
I didn't even consider playing the faint angle although it probably would have worked better if my girlfriend did it.
And yeah definitely a sweet male to female ratio but I'm only 42 and a little young for alot of them .
My GF did tell me that if one of those cougars wanted to buy me for the night, I was to take one for the team.

You may think you are too young... boy, you've still got a lot to learn!!!

I'd love to see and hear Rod Stewart sing.

Yeah they are coming here (KC) soon. I saw Rod Stewart about 15 years ago around the time of his Unplugged show/CD and it was really good. I'm not sure if I'd enjoy the "American Songbook" stuff as much.

I'd definitley like to see Stevie Nicks though. I'm not sure how good of a show she puts on, but I love her voice.

Glad you enjoyed the show so much! It sucks to pay money for a bad show.
