Just Started

I am new to this so I will keep it short and sweet. Just got music Creator 6 and it says it comes with AmpliTube 3 CS. Where would I find this? Also everything else is great except distorting. When I play a sample track or something I recorded it sounds over modulated. Not so bad that I can't hear what I played but bad enough that I wouldn't let anyone listen to it. I use windows 7 64 bit home edition. According to the system requirements on the Cakewalk website. I have more than enough. I downloaded ASIO 4ALL and the sound improved. It is clean if I play a Music Creator track thru the computer speakers but when I record and playback thru my M Audio interface it is distorted. Help.

Thanks in advance

    Welcome to the forum
First, completely delete ASIO4All from your computer. Then go to the M-Audio web site and download the latest true ASIO drivers for your interface. Install the drivers. Then in MC change the Driver Mode to ASIO. See if that helps.
ASIO4All is just a band-aid for sound cards that don't have true ASIO drivers. M-Audio does. It's important to delete ASIO4All before installing the M-Audio drivers.

I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
    Everything is better with pie.

Thanks Greg. Will do that tonight. I originally downloaded M Audio driver but it didn't help. I never changed the Driver Mode in MC.

Any Idea where AmpliTube # CS is located?
