    Yeah.......eventually, it will be.
I still don't think it will stop posters with multiple Sonar versions from posting non X3 questions.

There's so much to X3 now that it even seems like a good idea
to have X3 sub forums for stuff like Melodyne.
No biggy...just as is seems strange to me.

    hmm..

an "i dont care i still want my x2b"  room?
a "harrumph, in the ol'days of 8.5.3, now THAT lad, that was a DAW" room?
    a "just how VST3 is x3's VST3"? room?..
a "whine" room?.. nb bring your own cheese
a "just how many of bapus 1800 plugs are wired to IEC standards" room?
a largely empty sub forum of the above "..and have been tested with x3"?
an even emptier "i actually own a real synth ..please talk to me" room?
I considered a "guitar recording for dummies" room but that would require huge numbers of sub forums, but strangely, "bass guitar recording for smart people" was closed, unused, after a year and a half

    more? :D

Fortunately it won't be long and Garrigus Power
will be reference enough for me so wading through the
    thicket will be history.

Forums go by series. All v1-v8.5 are in one forum. So all Xs will be too.

Since the last run went 9 versions so must the X series. So when X9 is released...

The question will be: "Y" will there be a next series? Will "Y" be the next series?

    And, naturally, after "Y" comes...

So with 2 years between each X series release, 3 years between Y series and 4 years between Z series...

We have nothing to fear. Sonar will out live it's (current) users.

Do you mean it's misinterpreted or it should have ended already?

    The answer is either:
    A. Most likely Yes!
    B. Like the Mayans, use you imagination
    C. Wait till the end of the calendar and see
    D. Like the Mayans, you won't be there then so it doesn't matter
    E. There is no answer
    F. All The Above
