Just a comment...

This is to everyone,

I am a fairly new person to the Sonar forums. Even though I have used Cakewalk exclusively since it came out. Recently, I have been posting to the forums when I can. I want everyone to know that my post will always be positive and honest. I write what I believe. I know that I communicate differently than most. But please understand, I will never post anything to hurt, make fun of, or show sarcasm to anyone in any way. Just my opinion and a little fun.

I am not a novice. I have been there. Great forum. And I hope that my comments will bring value to this forum.

And no, I am really not Paula Abdul in disguise.

Please Note: We are not starting a new thread to promote ourselves, necessarily. These posts and all the back and forth (controversy) have generated lots of hits to our website. Whether you've commented or not, lots of you artists and technicians have listened to our music. Still, we are so grateful for your comments, which I have solicited, specifically. I do not even pretend that hits to our website will translate into CD sales from you. Therefore IMHO, we are not using this venue to "advertise" anymore than anyone else who posts here.

Please see the rest of this posting (#13) under "Traditional Black Gospel Music..."

Otherwise, in the words on an old Hank Williams song, "Am I that easy to forget?"

    Cheers,
    Chuck A.

Ed, I noted that you have 62 posts. I think that I've read most of them. 'Must have missed the one or two where your remarks were hurtful and offensive. (Smile!) I found your words to be very elegant, gentlemanly and encouraging. I, for one, am glad that you contribute your comments, when solicited, to users of this forum. Thank care.

    Ed,

Since you and I are "family", please allow me to do this one thing, because I know you are not the kind of person to do so yourself.

Folks..... Most of you have no idea who Ed Summers is or who has worked for, played with, wriiten/arranged for and/or produced in his career. I do. So, I would like to pay my respect to the him and his career in asking you to click on this link and read a little bit (if you only knew as I have come to know) about his career.

And FWIW.... Ed knows that by doing this that I am not placing him on a pedestal. And I want you folks to know that I have learned a great deal from him and will continue to do so because of his life experiences, as well as his expertise in the music entertainment industry.

The best thing that I can say about him is that he has a sincere love for God and is one of the most humblest human beings that I have personally ever known or meet in my life!

(I hope that I have not embarassed you in any way, Ed. You know my heart.)

    God bless.

    Chaz,

I never wanted anyone to know that I was an original Red Rose Tea Monkey. (The one with the blond wig on the bass) Been trying to keep that a secret. But hey, life's little secrets will find you. Thanks for the compliments.

And for all the analyticals out there, it's a joke. I failed the audition.

No, Ed, I was born and raised in Denver. I now live in the house where I was raised, as I purchsed it from my mother a year before she passed away in 2000. However, I did have an Aunt Eloise Anderson that was an educator in the Detroit public schools that passed away a coupla years ago. She became a prinicpal and then an administrator before she retired some years ago. Does it surprise you that Motown music made it to Denver --which was known as a cow town in the 1950's? (Motown -- Mootown -- Smile.)

'Hope you saw (listened to) all the new/OLD gospel style music that we posted on the EM website. Maybe you will have some more fond memories and revisit pleasant childhood experiences, again.

    Be blessed.
