    I had my package repaired on the insurance once but now it has a tendency to crumple on impact, despite my premiums being quite high.

    In that case, I'd be tempted to just go for third party fire and theft cover

    SMALLER packages cost way less to insure..

    and I thought smaller packages  was DE' RIGUEUR  for the CH....
