Just imported audio files - can't hear

I just imported 4 audio files into MC5. I can see the audio file, and when I hit play i see the vu meter moving -  but no sound. Sound card sent to speakers. I loded a midi file and could hear the tracks. Any suggestions.

Thanks Milwaukee Mike

I am having the same problem. I installed the music creator 5, search the audio like the book says, then I imported the files and the line moves but no audio. It says I have audio, when I listen with the other music programs it work, but can not figure out how to fix this? Can anyone help?

Is your soundcard recognised by MC and selected (>check in options dialogue)?
What is the output of the audio track set to? What soundcard and driver mode are you using?
What OS are you using (>check the settings of the windows mixer)?

If you're using the built in sound card......for a lappy.... be sure the driver is set to MME... run the WAVE PROFILER and set the inputs and outputs for audio to the lappy's default sound card.....

then try it again.... getting sound from a wave file that you can see is simply a matter of getting the signal path "connected" correctly.
