Just restrung the goodall
Can there be anything finer than new strings on your acoustic guitar? It sounds so good, plays better, inspires you to play it. Elixer nano web light phosphor bronze, with that many words in the name, how can you go wrong?

What else rejuvinates a guitar (electric and/or acoustic)? We have: New strings. I'll add: Freshly polished frets. New pickups. A new bone nut. A new bridge or saddles. Fast Fret Anything else?

ORIGINAL: The Kiosk Project Better guitarist? Some guitars are stuck with the guitarist they've got.

new strings...... one of my favorite things....along with .... Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens Brown paper packages tied up with strings These are a few of my favorite things Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings These are a few of my favorite things Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes Silver white winters that melt into springs These are a few of my favorite things When the dog bites When the bee stings When I'm feeling sad I simply remember my favorite things And then I don't feel so bad

Restringing my Rick 381 v 12 is a nightmare though - with that headstock and that r tailpiece...
Some people call me Maurice SPLAT Pro lifetime, ADK 6 core 3.6Ghz with 32 GB RAM, SSD 1TB system drive, 3 3TB regular drives for samples, recordings and misc. Behringer X Touch, UAD Apollo Quad. 2 UAD2 Quads PCI (i think - inside the box whatever that is), Console 1. More guitars (40??) and synths (hard and soft) than talent. Zendrum!!!

I personally cannot stand Elixir strings, I just don't get why Taylor uses them as original equipment from the factory. Both my Taylors sound far far sweeter with Martin SP+ Phos. Bronze. But I guess that's why there is a choice

ORIGINAL: MemphisJo I personally cannot stand Elixir strings, Me either...I tried them...they sound good IMO but they*break* constantly with my playing style(and I don't dig into it THAT hard!) I have used Tomastik-Infeld Phosphor- Bronze for a long time and will continue to do so. Sound great and rarely break.
