Just the basics this morning
Yes, there are preserves for the toast (strawberry and orange marmalade), but I didn't add any ham to the eggs like I usually do (yes, there are six of them there next to a 1/2 pound of thick-sliced wonderful becan) and I didn't add anything extra like waffles or sausage patties. Like I said, just the basics. Oh yeah, and DAMN it was good!

Quite the breakfast! Not sure I'd survive it though - usually, I hit the gym shortly after breakfast and I'd most likely die on the elliptic or the bench would finish me. One of my favourites these days is Irish oatmeal with blueberries or other season fruits and unfiltered cranberry juice. But being the lazy lad that I am, 90% of the time, I just make a protein shake w/ a banana and frozen fruits. On weekends, I might make croissants for my wife and grab a small one for myself. I don't like to feel full after breakfast. Dinner's a different thing. :P

I've been trying several. Still searching for "THE" coffee I want to get all the time. I think that cup was just Great Value's Classic Blend. I'm using a 100% Columbian one now and, next up, will be a 100% Arabica one. I need to find the right flavor (and it has to be black, but not too bitter - I'm probably into "Mediums" on the usual scale.)

I'm enjoying some Sumatra this morning. More accurately, I'm guzzling vast quantities of scalding liquid while struggling to force my eyelids open long enough to make sure I'm facing my monitor. I've heard that appearances are important to some people, so I'm attempting to appear as though I'm alert. A blurry shape just walked by and said, "Good Morning!" I gave it a thumbs up and burned my throat with another gulp of coffee. Nailed it.

You should put some grape jam on the toast and add a piece of that becan to make a small sandwich.

I just cooked up a tofu, onion, peppers, and taters stir fry, some yella grits with cheese, some toast and butter, some orange juice, and then set a table for 2. So, now my buddy has called and says he just flipped his moto scooter half way through the forest trail on his way over for breakfast. Decisions...decisions.

Better have a doctor check you out. You may need pills.
