Just upgraded to Sonar X1 - having a problem Installing 04_Dimension_Pro_1.5_Expansion_Pac

I'm having a problem Installing 04_Dimension_Pro_1.5_Expansion_Packs on Vista Premium 32.

The installation gets about 3/4 of the way thru then I receive and error of "Cannot create D:\Multisamples"

Well for sure it can't... there is no "D" drive.

Have tried several times to install, including from an external drive.

What I ended up having to do was repartition my main drive and create a new partition and assign it the drive letter “D”.

I ran the installer and it installed the content for Expansion Pack 3 to “D:\Multisamples

Anyone else have problems with this or am I just lucky?

Thanx.

Weird. You couldn't change the data path? Also... if you created a D partition what is your disc drive now called? I could see that causing some problems.

There are no options during the install process so there is no way to tell the installer where to install anything.
Sure funny that I appear to be the only one who has encountered this.

I'm also not too happy to have had to do the workaround.

I had to shrink the main partition to make room on the drive for the new partition.

Yeah, that's brutal, kevo. If someone doesn't come along to help I'd call support on this one. That is a really screwy thing for it to do. Maybe now that you have it installed you can move that folder where you'd like it to be and get rid of that partition... but I'd still get a hold of support before doing that. Good luck.

    O.K.
    Here's the final scoop...
I checked the files and folders that were installed to D:\Multisamples against those installed on the main drive partition.

I was then able to delete the partition I had to create.

    Still weird this happened.

    All is well in Oz.
What's with the monkies? They're freakin me out man!
