Just used Project 5 2.5 after a few years, and..

I forgot what a great workflow it is! I can't remember why I moved on, other than multicore support and they quit developing it. Here's the cool thing, I just bought an Asus CM6870 desktop with the new Ivy bridge, an it makes P5 2.5 use all 8 cores and runs at 4-10% heavily loaded.
 
Also, P5 seems it was ahead of it's time, workflow wise, it's already where other DAWs are wanting to go, like X1, Studio One. It's already a single pane of glass.
It seems the code is not all bloated like X1 too, it loads in flash.

    I feel the same way. it id the go to scratch pad. I never gave up on it, it is the only system for soft synths that I will always work grooves with. So, no, the Love fest continues even though it's a begotten platform.
