Jypsea Wind - The Wings of Life (rock ballad)

Jypsea Wind band from 1972 playing original song.  Connie Case lead vocal.  Chris on guitar, me on keys (a real Vox organ).  Can't remember bass and drummer names.

Forgive the quality of the old mono recording on cheap recorder- impossible to make quality audio from the source.  I applied both HP and LP filters.  Could not get the shrill out of the cymbals (any ideas?)  I used some BT effects in Sonar Pro.

But I like the song so much I wanted to share. So it's more about the song then the audio.  And the only recording I know in existence of this song.

Lyrics:
Today I said I was loving you
It's given me the will
to ride all the way
To the end of time
to jump as high
as a bird can fly
To reach up at the sun
look out, yea then claim it all mine
But if you go away
any longer today...
And you love someone
with the Wings of Life
It's hard to let go
but you think you should go

Listened ... Yeah that's what our old tapes sounded like as well.  Perhaps a bit of noise reduction would help.
