It's all relative, people drop alot of $ on music software that really don't need or will use. Omnisphere or orchestral libraries come to mind. If you were a pro broadcast house or facility it probably might be useful. That's who would use & invest in it, not your average Soundclick or Soundcloud hobbyist. I'll try the demo though, it's free.

By comparison, Nugen's LM-Correct is $399.... that's a far more reasonable pricing...which features Fast, accurate analysis and correction- Two-click solution to loudness conformance
- Immediate finishing of audio to loudness standards
- Editor based and stand alone operation
- Integrated true-peak back-stop limiter
- Optional dialog gated measure
Peace of mind- Automated standard compliance
- ITU-R BS. 1770 | EBU R128 | CALM Act compliant
- Short term and Integrated loudness target
- Maximum True Peak Level
- 'EBU Mode'
- Automatic mono through 5.1 compatibility
Intuitive operation- Clear parameter read out
- Simple one-click analysis
- Dial in target values directly
- One-click correction
- Offline faster that real-time advantage
And the upgrade to LM-2 next month is free...granted it doesn't have the really kewl interface... but I could live without that while keeping $800 in my pocket I guess.. https://www.nugenaudio.com/lm-correct-loudness-correction-automatic-quick-fix-plugin-aax-au-vst_19

Like I said it's all relative. The Nu-Gen is too expensive for my needs also. BTW you can pick it up the LM-Correct at JJR for $309.00. that would include the free upgrade to V2 as well. I actually prefer the TC Electronic LCn Loudness Correct http://www.tcelectronic.com/lcn/ I've demoed both & it has the better limiter IMO, the processed material sounded clearer. It also has batch processing. Both would be useful for a digital music distributor, production house, mastering service.

Correct Carl...yes....I agree..my point was cost wise....that's a HUGE difference... TC is definitely up there...and STILL $500 cheaper then this one...

Yep, the only plus is Level Magic is vst & can used inside your DAW. NuGen & TC only work in PT. although they offer a standalone which works fine & great for batch processing. I couldn't get X3 to find Level Magic although the paths were correct, don't know why. Cubase found it right away on start-up. Tried it for a while & it seems to work fine- cpu, no crashes, issues. I'll try it more tomorrow. No stand alone version that could I find though. That's a big minus. A 10 day demo then I'll say adios & remove it.

Opposite end of the spectrum I tried this last year too. I can't remember now but there was some issue when it processed files. Useful for podcasts & general use though, free 2 hours- monthly. Standalone available. https://auphonic.com/
