KOMPLETE 8 or Studio Treatment?

I have K7, but have a credit on amazon.com to cover the K8 upgrade.

But should I get the K8 upgrade?? ....or get $200 worth of room treatment.

If you had to get one or the other????

    it would all depend on what I needed most. 

    if K8 has things in it that you need for your music production that K7 doesn't have, then get it.

    if K8 doesn't have anything you need that you don't already have with K7, then definitely get some room treatment.

    Well, I hear GR5 has some nicer amps sims, which is what I use the most. But I wanted opinions from anyone who has upgraded to chime in as to whether it was worth it.

    I am scouring amazon to see if there is good deals on treatment. That is also a factor. Maybe visit the Musician's Friend storefront and see if there are any other goodies.

    The money is earmarked for the studio :)

    I'd get the treatment when you can get ALL the treatment. But you could get GR5 as separate product in a sale (around July probably) and then sell it and upgrade to K8 at a later stage or look for a secondhand copy of GR5. All perfectly legal and above board.

    How much treatment does your room currently have?

    If it's nothing to minimal then the question answers itself.......

    We'll see if I can get the treatment I want for a good price on Amazon. The K8 upgrade is a standard price, so I know I'm not wasting the money if I went that direction.
