I'm very lucky to have a wife that understands my hobbies and lets me have such a nice space.

I was about to make exactly the same comment.

Be sure to include her input as to cosmetic touches, such as choosing a fabric to cover your traps. Not only will her sense of taste probably be better than yours, she'll also feel a little co-ownership in the project and not come to think of it as an off-limits this-is-MY-space man-cave kind of thing. Even if she doesn't understand why on earth you need to buy a lava lamp.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

And why would you say this?  This is a huge pet peeve of mine that somehow only women are capable of making design decisions.

That is awesome Kev. Really great looking setup. If I were you, I'd keep those pictures protected. Otherwise, CJ may put them up on his website and call it his place.

Randy

Now that's funny!

Kev,
What an awesome job you've done.  Everything from the color scheme the stone wall and most important the lighting.  Your lighting choices really make this room look awesome.  When do we get to hear the 1st recordings/mixes from this room?

Great job,
Rich

It's a well known fact that the dirt adds "warmth" and "naturalness" that clean places just cannot match.

Many top studios pay to bring in the best dirt.

Does that include Bouy tax?
