Key-bindings for "Remove Empty Lanes" & "Rebuild Lanes" are already in place.

They must have thought about implementing these two extremely useful features, but never quite got round to it

I'm not a fan of Take Lanes, but if they actually get around to making these features work, I'd be a lot happier.

The commands are located in the Track View key-bindings (search 'lanes'). As you can see, I've tried binding them to TAB and Ctrl+TAB, but they (unsurprisingly) don't work:

At least we know for certain that Cakewalk were definitely thinking about it because someone must have changed 'Layers' to 'Lanes'.

At least "TAB" is spelled correctly right?

That's a good start!

My guess is they parsed the code for text references to layers and replaced it with lanes. The key bindings are orphaned until they find a way to implement the function with Lanes.

I for one was not fond of the willy-nilly nature of the rebuild layers function. However, a remove empty lanes would be nice.
