Keyboard Players
HI, Im relatively new to using these forums in a big way, but Im wondering, considering that forum users here will for the most part be Sonar users, that musical collaborations would be relatively easy. With that in mind, I'd love to find someone that could play keyboards to help me with specific projects. I struggle with them as I find playing and programming them is quite painful in a labour time sense for me as im a singer/guitarist. Of course, I write/record/produce purely for the sheer enjoyment/stress of it and hence have no fees to offer sadly. Id love that to change, but I doubt it ever will. Is there anyone out there that is a keyboard player that woud have interest in such things? Kind Regards Lee

A good idea would be to post some of your music so folks could get a sense of style.

Welcome Lee. Yep, what James said is right. Post some of the music you write and mention that you would like to collaborate. There are lots of people here that collaborate ALL THE TIME..... and we even have a few "virtual bands" so jump in and have fun.... We have a number of keyboard players here. Hang out, post some stuff, and get to know the people that hang out here. You'll likely have people willing to play keys on your tunes in no time at all. It's all about the music.

Thanks for the replies guys. Of course, it'd be sensible to link the genre. If you head to www.leemccabe.net , theres 4 songs on the right colum that can be played that outlines where Im at. Best Regards Lee

Man... that sounds really good. Professional sounding. Just put your WIP tracks up and ask. see if you get any interest.

Thanks again for the positive comments. Ok, onwards, Ive thrown a mix together of a song called 'Did It Hurt Like This' I think I must have written this song when I was a bit low....lol Anyhow, it has some basic piano chords in(about as much as I'm capable of), so have a listen and see if anyone is inspired enough to add something. All the best Lee

Like your stuff a lot Lee. Great voice. As far as 'did it hurt like this' goes, i'd post it without the piano. There's not much room left to my ears. I'd let the guits do the block chord stuff and spice it up with synth sprinkies and pads.

Tim, what are you talking about?! There's ALWAYS room for a piano! lol Lee, I'm between songs right now, so maybe I could give it a shot. PM me with some details.
