Keyboard Sonar Platinum Integration

Hi

Now I can say that the Integration between the Yamaha Genos and Sonar Bandlab Platinum is great.

I put the Genos INS file into Platinum and there are no glitches anymore going back and forward editing the on board sounds of the Genos midi files. The piano roll is perfect.
Now you can play a song straight through changing the sounds on channel 1 (lead sounds) and do edits without sounds glitching and clashing when going back and forth in Piano Roll mode. It is great to play a song in one go and do minor edits.
Multi-tracking is great also for more detailed songs.
So now  System exclusive matches the daw and keyboard. Aszlow does not have to write a cal script anymore. I would like to thank Aszlow for helping me out when I had the Tyros 5. Much appreciated.

Tie the Genos with It's onboard sounds with Vst and you have a monster.
Must have a decent modern computer though.

All the best
John

I'm glad it works for you.

Can we not all agree that we should be using the name Cakewalk or Cakewalk by BandLab from now on?
Using the new name will help tons going forward. Especially for the internet Search Engine Optimization and technical side. I actually thought this thread might be about the old product, which I'm no longer interested in after having installed Cakewalk by BandLab. Sorry to rant, but this is common sense going forward.

I expect if you rename the title, you will have more chance of getting replies, too.

No. It’s just that the products name is Cakewalk by BandLab. Sonar stopped being developed in November 2017.

Yeah. I meant no disrespect. But as a web hobbyist, I realize how important it is to use the correct names online, IF we want to promote a cause and get people to see the correct information going forward.
I can't offer a lot of skillful technical advice for people about Cakewalk, but I can get info onto page one of Google, and it would be nice to see that happen with Cakewalk by Bandlab.
    High five.
