Keyboard instruction software?

Hi, I want to learn to play the keyboard better. Does anyone have any experience with any of the CD-rom / software programs that are out there? I have all of these great soft synths and would like to get more out of them.

I'd appreciate it.

Yeah, same here. I've seen some of this guys' videos on youtube, and am thinking of getting his DVD's - I really like his approach - and sounds.

There's a ton of self-instruction material out there ranging from very good to very bad.

My advice: Find a piano teacher that understands synthesizers. A good teacher will save you lots of time in the long run. You can always augment with the self-help material.

Really, a good teacher just guides you in teaching yourself to play. All you teachers out there...don't get upset over that..... cause yeah I know... a good teacher can really shorten the learning process...

But having a teacher can be a major help...if the teacher is good....many are not... also checking out the DVD series stuff is useful. most sites have some snippits that will let you know if it's what you're really looking for.

A willingness and eagerness to learn on your part goes a long way.
