Keyboard not working in Sonar Producer 8

Hello all,
I am not new to Producer 8 by all means; however I just bought a new Yamaha E 413 keyboard and I cannot seem to get it working in sonar. Can anybody help me out here? I had it working last night for one hour, shut my computer down and now I cannot hear anything (yes I do have the audition on).

Please help.

    I dread the day that all keyboards only come with USB and no MIDI.
    Did you select it as your MIDI input device, in both the MIDI options and the midi channel your using? Did you assign a soft synth to that track?

    Are you trying to use the keyboard for MIDI-recording, and if so, are you using a soft synth or do you want to use the E413s sounds? Or maybe you're trying to record the E413s sound directly as audio?

    If you have connected the E413 via USB, it is quite possible you need its specific drivers. Have you installed such?
