Keyboard shortcut - delete all clips from specific clip forward/backwards, next clip jump
I have this strange situation where if I want to select all clips from point X forward e.g. the 7th clip to the ending clip, let's say the 11th, the only way I seem to be able to do it is to highlight the 7th clip, press Alt+Shift+F6. (This was per my other post one of the keyboard shortcuts I couldn't find in the official list but found it referenced at
http://blog.cakewalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Key-Bindings-X1-original-settings.pdf). At this point it seems nothing has happened, the remaining clips are not highlighted. However when I click on the track number twice, the remaining clips 8 - 11 are highlighted so I can then delete them. I found this out by accident - 'the bang keys until you find something' theory at play. Is there a way to do this all from the keyboard - no mouse - that doesn't require this many steps? I do this hundreds of times in a week. Being able to do it backwards as well would be great - e.g. delete all clips from 7 to the first clip let's say, so I only have clips 8 and higher left?
And while I am on this topic I might as well see if I can cash in all my chips at once, if somebody knows how to go to next clip/last clip in a track using keyboard only where I have no markers - too tedious to put these in all the time for the way I work - it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
