Keyboard shortcuts for swthing between edit modes

Is there a keyboard shortcut to switch between editin volume automation and spliting clips? Right now what I do is I have to go to the edit filter and select clips to split clips. usually  in clips filter all I have to do is hold Alt to change the tool into a split tool, but when in volume automation filter that does not work.

Also how do you change the keyboard shortcut for draw tool? Right now by default it is set to F9. I'm not at my DAW, but my guess is it is in the keybinding settings.

The way I do it is shift-click on the clip, puts you into clip mode, then alt and click to split, then shift-click on the envelope again and you're back in envelope mode. You can also set the now time and then click in the top half of the clip and press 'S'.

Tool shortcuts are changeable via the keybinding dialogue in preferences
