    I don't think this is new. My son-in-law showed me a similar commercially available board last year. Maybe not exactly $9 but IIRC it was under $20.

    They already got $1,390,905 and only needed $50,00 (am I reading this correctly)??
     
    I wasn't sure if the donor's get anything in return or if this just a donation request for their developement team.
