Okay this is funny......i'm playing with my z3ta 2.2 problem and when i seen the "load program data error" i have used "ctrl alt canc"to stop the sonar process...bum the task manager was blocked!freezed!
This z3ta bug is very powerful :)
Never seen the task manager freez

That's got to be something else, from what I seeing right now the issue is that the preset indexing order has changed breaking backwards compatibility.

Just click off the error message dialogue and Sonar will still work.

?

I discover something... It may have been working but I couldn't see the button?

When I went to change the avatar from a laptop, it was still behaving the same... Then I accidentally scrolled over the words upload file, and saw it change to active/link... Clicking there, of course did the trick...

But neither the iPads or laptops revealed those words to be active...

Sorry to be OT here...

I'd just like to point out Zargg's name is in his sig. Some people may not see that if they are on mobile or have their forum settings set to hide signatures.

He also seems like a genuinely decent dude. Bit of misdirected frustration in this thread IMO but whatevs... he's a good member/contributor who tries to help out when he can.

I got respect for that.

Peace.

This isn't entirely true.  While Sonar will definitely work, your patches with Zeta 2.1 will not be correct unless you go through each track with Zeta and reselect the track.  It's not as simple as just "hitting OK."

@Midiboy It's entirely true, Sonar will still work (I'm talking about Sonar and his taskman issue).

The Z3TA+2 preset bug is another matter (makes it unusable). See my full quote.

Forgive me for skipping the middle of this thread where things got weird, but I have the same problem, esp. w/ Z3ta, since upgrading.

We just have to wait for a patch now for Z3TA+2 (or revert) unless somebody comes up with a genius workaround...

Hi all unfortunately i have a bad experience with Kingston update.
After the update when i load some recent prjs i have an error like this:
Error.Program data not loaded
When i hit ok Sonar load the prjs but i have seen that Z3TA load the default patch (not the right patch).
Any problem like this?

Another bad things, when i load a z3TA 2.2 vst3 in a project i read 2.1 in the instrument tab but the info on the z3ta gui is 2.2 and i have a dropout with prjs that with jamaica were perfect.
Cake can you hear me?
btw thanks for the kingston update.

I had a similar problem with Z3TA-2.2.  I think Kingston is OK, it might be the Z3TA update itself.  I rolled back using Windows Restore and am using Z3TA-2 with Kingston and, I think, no issues.

No need to use Windows System Restore.  You just go into Control Panel and uninstall Zeta 2.2 and reinstall 2.1.  Takes mere minutes.  It's definitely not Kingston.  It's Zeta 2.2  People are reporting the exact same issue in other DAWs as well, so it's not at all Sonar related.

You might want to change the thread title to "Z3ta 2.2 Alert", since this isn't a Kingston-specific issue. And post your transient display issue in another thread with relevant details.
