    I know you saw this (or you wouldn't be Larry D. Pusher), but I wanted at least get one in!!  
    Yeah, I also thought it was odd for them to have a Komplete sale just after a uhhmmm.......Komplete Sale. Seems like an after thought.....

    Typical corporate bunch of R-tards in a room decision...

    We'll sell upgrades first...then sell the Whole product...DERH!

    FIRST sell the WHOLE...most who didn't have it would have JUMPED at the $399 price..
    THEN sell the upgrades...and watch them all buy the upgrade from Komplete to Ultimate..DERH!

    I"m sure the thinking was....well they would save $50 if we did it that way ($399 - $249)
    but then your customer base has grown exponentially by doing that..and you get MORE UPGRADE 
    money later...
