Kontakt 4 Libraries

I know I could ask this on the NI forum, and if I can't find out here I will.  but I know this user base is very knowledgable, and I prefer these forums where I'm comfortable!

is there a way that I can get my 3rd party kontakt sounds to show up as "libraries" that I can browse like the kontakt libraries instead of only being able to add them by browsing thru the database files?

I'm pretty sure the answer is no as it depends on how the vendor set it up (i.e. Jet City by StudioCat is not set up that way).

I think its only libraries that have to be regestered with NI that show up in the libraries view. (the ones that work with Kontakt Player). Apart from NI stuff I see Steven Slate EX and Kirk Hunter Rock an Pop Strings.

I seem to recall the question being asked on the NI forums but a quick search reveled nothing.

Interesting that you can add something to another library (not getting your own image of course).

Still, I only own one non-library product (Jet City from StudioCat) so no biggie for me.

I have a lot of them that are not in libraries - but yes, that is interesting about putting them in another library!  I might try that!

I have a ton of 3rd party stuff and, unfortunately, no you can't make them "libraries".  Here's another NI anomaly.  I've had several of my actual libraries (Steven Slate, Akoustic Piano, Elektrik Piano and one other I can't remember right now whose Logo Banners changed into a generic green bar with just the name on it...No more pretty pictures...after updating them.  I've tried to get EW to find out how to get them back...but still no love.
