Kore 2 in SONAR?

Does anyone know if Native instruments Kore 2 in SONAR 8.5 would be compatible with Cakewalk Soft Synths (other than Z3TA+)?
Mor specifically, will it open and organize Dimension Pro patches/programs?

I don't know the answer, but I'm very curious as to why you want to open another soft synth inside Kore 2?  Is it to use the FX in Kore, or to stack synths?

I tried scanning my non NI vsts in Kore 2 and it crashed....I dont know which VST crashed it,,,Im happy with kore 2 and NI vsts

the ad does state this :

Batch Import: Entire preset programs of 3rd party Audio Unit / VST plug-ins can be imported in one go; after which they are instantly usable as KoreSounds®.

I'm going to have to try that tonight when I get home

It opens them no problem. I've not incorporated Cakewalk presets into it as I just use the browser inside the plug-in such as Rapture or Dim Pro

Start the scan again; if it was a plugin that can't flat-out be used, Kore will tell you that it's disabled the next time you start the scan.
As far as batch import, this only works if the plugin uses .fxb for banks. Furthermore, unless you can load banks from the plugin's GUI, Kore will only import the default bank.

@ the OP- yeah, it works with other Cakewalk synths, as long as you have the VST version installed. I use it with Rapture and z3ta myself.

Personally, I hate DP's navigation structure.  I would prefer to be able to tag and nagivate through sounds of all my soft synths in one place versus hunting for a sound in 10-15 different synths. :(
