Kudos to CW for their increased presence on the forum for the X3 release
Noel & Cakewalk support staff, You guys are all over this forum recently. Whether the increased presence is due to changes in Cakewalk's parent company relationship, the release of X3, or a combination of both - it's very noticable. It may not be sustainable permanently, however for major releases, the interaction and open dialogue is a very good thing and much appreciated. It's impressive when support staff are on this forum - even moreso when the CTO is here as well. We're quick to point out gripes - I thought it worthwhile to highlight when something very positive happens. Thanks for the efforts and presence on here. Russ

I must agree that the extra staff presence here is very appreciated. I realize that it can't always be like this because of production cycles but the support in the forum at present is phenomenal.

I think it's mostly a sign of how things are immediately after a major release when everyone gets to pull his/her nose back from the grindstone for a moment, and is allowed to talk freely about what's in it.

Yes.. understood and agreed - that's why I specifically said 'after a major release'. I don't think anybody reasonably expects this all the time, but it definitely helps for a few days after a major release.

It is much appreciated. It's probably tough to listen to all the complaints and remain positive - but in the end I think you foster a much more solid customer base.

I concur! We love you guys, and all the struggles since the inception of the X series are bearing fruit... Much appreciate all you do and I'm just.... well.... after 24 hours... kinda delirious, orgasmicly happy and thankful... Your presence over at KVR has also been very helpful... trying to fight the flame wars with your participation has resulted in more meaningful dialogues in recent pages... This is a watershed moment for Sonar... I feel it... and am ecstatic!
