"LA Bound" Remix with S5 - Comments?

Hi all,

I just remixed my country pop tune "LA Bound" using S5 and it sounds much better to my ears. Here's the link to the new mix new LA Bound

I'll upload the old version tonight for comparison. Let me know what you think of the mix.

    Dale: I think the stereo field is well used, with each instrument having its own space. Its a good example for less experienced folks like me to emulate.

    I don't think the main vocal track fits in with the rest of the mix. It sounds like it is not part of the same environment. That's the only negative I can point to.

    I EQ'd each instrument and it came out better. However, I had trouble with the vocal getting it to sit well. I may take another shot at it. Thanks!

    Hi Dale,
    Country is not my thing , but that was a fun song. I had it stuck in my head all day.
    I really like the strings. Excuse my ignorance, but was that bongo or fiddle. Sounds good.

    Thanks for the ear and the comments. I believe it's the banjo you're hearing.
