LP-64 vs Waves C6?

Hey!

I saw that the Waves C6 multiband compressor is available now at Waves for 149USD compared to the regular 250USD. How are the two compared to eachother?

The LP-64 normaly gives me dropouts when changing the bands during playback. It works much better under X2 but this alone would be a reason for me to go for the Waves one. Any thoughts?

Metz, in thoroughly examining the LP64 line, both EQ and multiband, against others including waves and freeware, they always had a strange phase distortion in the mid's which gave them a sort of "honk" in their sound; not pleasant. The LP EQ they have very nicely updated and is very much usable still not my favorite but it won't totally rearrange the tonality of your signal like before. Unfortunately, the LPMB still is not usable in my opinion. There is too much degradation and is especially noticeable on full program material i.e stereo mixes.
