To bring up the help for either plug-in, click in the body of the plug-in UI and hit the F1 key. This should bring the manual. The documentation is in Cakewalk Content in a Documentation folder under "LP EQ" or "LP MB." It may be launched directly from the folder was well.

Thanks, scook. Is that the "online Help" or something different?

Brian Walton I challenge you to find something by a major company with a similar feature set for less.
what's up with the smaller devs? (i.e., not a major company)
Feel free to name a smaller dev that you think 1) Has comparable products - please name them 2) Is priced less than Cake's offering The smaller devs that came to my mind fit in two categories 1) Cost more or 2) Too small to be considered reliable/viable business long term.
fair enough but i think you may be missing out on some good stuff... off the top of my head: ddmf, klanghelm, sonimus, tdr, toneboosters, i'm sure others can think of more

I own plugins from 4 out of those 5. However, we are talking about specific types of plugins and as far as I know only ddmf is the only one with a product in that category and quite frankly isn't on the level of Cake's offering. (and is only $20 less for the duo and for that you get a dated interface and significantly less functionality, IMO).

How does the authorization work for these plugins? When I loaded them to my off-line Sonar Plat enabled computer, they showed up as not authorized. Previous LPEQ + COMP worked fine and I do not see an offline installer option for these "newly updated" versions.

Hi Brian, I had the same and sorted it as follows: Login to Command Centre and download the L-Phase series plugins and install them. Keep logged in to Command Centre. Open a Sonar project. Insert one of the plugins on a track. Open the plugin and look in settings (the cog wheel at top left of the plugin window). You should see two options for authorization there. I checked these and now mine is working fine. Hope this helps.

Thank you, I completely missed the cog wheel as I was looking for just such a menu.

If you click the Expert button, you'll see the Expert panel which has an "Out" control which adjusts the output gain. Is that what you're looking for?

Anyone else found the EQ to be super CPU hungry? Seems uncalled for the amount the plug in slows the system, down when open and viewing the graphic.

This is a Mastering EQ, and is (mainly) to be used in the mastering stage. (It uses look-ahead function that introduce latency, If I understand correctly) Have you tried to put it in non linear mode? It can be done by clicking the Expert button (left bottom), and choose non / low (not at my DAW now). All the best.

Loving the L-Phase plug-ins so far. But I was wondering -- would there be any harm in using the LP MB as a standard (i.e., non-multiband) compressor, by simply using a single band and expanding it across the full audio spectrum? Could this result in any foreseeable ill effects? Are there any underlying parameters to this MB (other than having multiple band functionality) that make it any different from a standard compressor?
