LSD but not the drug!

Here is a remake of Lucy in the sky with diamonds. I like the beatles version, but when I was younger my gay uncle played me the Elton version and I loved that one too. So many great bands have covered this great tune so I wanted to take a crack at it, maybe something more modern. I always wanted to do a more "rockin" version so here it is, enjoy!     I love it.  Funky Lucy.  The bass guitar part is really nice as is the rhythm guitar.  Your voice has a Lenny Kravitz quality that puts this song over the top.  The drums are produced well and really drive the song.  Well done.

    Thx Lynn. I have a good storey about Lenny K. He was the first artist I ever heard live first, before hearing his music on the radio or TV. Went to see the Fabulous thunderbirds at a Beson & Hedges Blues Review at The Beacon Theater in NYC, been a huge fan ever since!

    I really like the idea and the mix sounds good, but there's not enough distinction between the verse and chorus for me so it was feeling a bit samey by the time it got to the end.
