Lanes to Tracks - How to?

Lanes to Tracks - How to?

I have 5 Takes of guitar that were recorded in Loop Mode (played to "Frozen" background tracks)

I now have 5 Lanes in a single Track ... I am unable to rename any of these Lanes individually, as they don't "individually" have any Properties!?

So!  I would like to be able to "Explode" these 5 Takes into their own Tracks (5 separate individual Tracks so I can rename each of them, as I was trying to do above)... but all at once.

I am stumped!



  X1E-64bit, Windows 7 64-bit, Sonica Labs Hush QT- Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66G, 8GB  RAM, RME Fireface UFX (using Firewire), 3 eSata internal/many external hdd's

    Actually, if each take is one long clip, you can just rename the clip. Click on it to select it, and then click the Clip tab at the top of the Inspector. There, you can type in a new name.

    But if you really want each clip in a separate track, you'll need to do it manually. Create the new tracks and then drag the clips to the tracks.

    yes, that is exactly what I want to do...seems like an over-site, no?

    An "explode to tracks" command would indeed be rad.

    +1. I could use this feature as well. I usually create one archive track (with tons of lanes) and then move the key parts to a comp track, but I could definitely see this as being useful.
