Large video monitor available.....

Anyone who is looking for more visual real estate might want to check out the Hanns G video monitor at NewEgg.  I have two of these for my workstation and absolutely love them.  Sonar is so easy to work on when you can see so much.  I have the TV on one and the CV on the other.  Only drawback is....I paid $450 for the first one and $360 for the second one.

Of course, they do have a limit of 20 on them...so if you want more than that you'll be out of luck.... :) .

    Resolution looks pretty low on it. It might be great if you're looking to enlarge the pixels to more easily view. It's not very dense, though. I have a 24" monitor that's 1920x1280. Still, it's not a bad price!  With that contrast ratio and 2ms response, I bet this would be a nice gaming monitor, or one where you need the fastest response!

    Yeah...but running them at 1920x1080 on a 27" (used to be advertised as 28") makes everything large and easy to see.  That's what I like about them.  I am usually working for hours and hours at a time in front of these and it sure makes me less fatigued.

    And you're right....it's a nice price for a monitor this large.

    I got myself some tired old eyes, and need a new eye exam.

    In the meantime, I picked up a 32" and a 46" HDTV, and run with the larger one as my primary, and the 2nd as an extended desktop.

    It works well - the 32" was $199, and the 46" was $326.

    Can't beat big.

    This is good for "touch" features, too, if it had touch capabilities. If the knobs and faders are larger, then touch would be easier!
