Larger view for ProChannel EQ please!
I love the ProChannel EQ, and it is my main go-to EQ for SONAR X1. However, sometimes it is difficult to be precise because the EQ window is so small. Especially now since X1d's new QuadCurveEQ has a thicker main EQ line, its sometimes difficult to see how much you're raising certain bands when your making subtle changes. I know this is not that necessary for other ProChannel modules, but for the EQ, it would really help for there to be an option to pop-out a larger view of the EQ. With an option like that, it would be much easier to make small subtle changes to the EQ while still being exact and precise.

Feature request it. I think it's something that will come in time as the PC evolves but the more feature requests it gets the more likely it is to happen.

Here's a idea from way back in 2007: Resizable edit windows VST3 introduces a new approach to plug-in GUIs though window resizing, allowing for extremely flexible use of valuable screen space. best regards, mike

You can do that in VST 2. Voxengo Span does it, amongst other things.

I guess Mike forgets about the Sonitus EQ built into Sonar 8.5. I think most people just want that same ability in the Quad Core EQ. No one needs to go to VST 3 for that ability.

I think a nice way to handle this would be an auto-zoom option. For example, when you have your mouse pointer over a module in the Pro Channel, it would automatically pop out of the Pro Channel full sized. Maybe a few options such as how long it stays up after you move your mouse of the pop-up, how much it zooms (2X, 3X, 4X ...), and an option to turn the mouse over zoom off completely if you'd like.

I made this very request for PC EQ when they sent that survey to Sonar users a month or three ago.

"For example, when you have your mouse pointer over a module in the Pro Channel, it would automatically pop out of the Pro Channel full sized." Good suggestion,Bub. I sent a similar request with a "magnifier mouse". Although the colorscheme of the expanded version is an improvement for me. Cheers Michael

I've found this to be expecially crucial when I use the ProChannel EQ as a mastering EQ, and need to do some extremely subtle fine-tuning. Sometimes I can't tell if I've actually moved anything in the EQ or not!
