I just chatted with Larry a few minutes ago and he tried to use that other account, but it wouldn't let him login. He also said he misses everyone, but is upset that BandLab has "disabled" new accounts.
Hopefully, there's going to be some sort of solution to this.

Thank you Mesh for the update and for not adding to the chaos. This is very strange with too many weird components. The sub plots are even weirder.

Evidence of what Indeed . . . why the sudden edit to a post over a year old?

Agreed. Why would someone edit (what amounted to delete) a year old post? I thought the same thing too. And just wanted to make sure I was understanding correctly.

I mean, I may have edited an old post to correct spelling (I am anal about that!), but that would be it. : )

I think they, whoever has the 'notcclarry' account, were just making sure there was nothing to identify them after they changed name to notcclarry.

I see you have been covering your tracks by yesterday editing the only other (countable) post made with that account (June 2017) to remove any evidence . . . hmmmmm . . . the fish smell gets stronger

This is utterly ridiculous, there’s now a conspiracy about me because people can’t cope with the fact that Larry doesn’t want to be here..... I edited the one post I made on this spare account after I made it in 2017 in PREPORATION of Larry taking it over. It was a post on a windows 10 update post, what conspiracy would I possibly be covering up? I changed this user name to prove you could, you changed yours to copy me. The only one causing unnecessary drama is you.

He does already have at least 1 other account, remember the one he used to make a quick post in the Deals or Software forums the last time he was banned? Maybe he can't remember it?

Fascinating

The thing I find odd the most, as I mentioned before, is in a situation like this, how the person who purchased the account never changed the access details, Email, password, thus allowing the seller to continue to access the account for 8+ months, because if the buyer did change those details he and he alone would be in control of the account, and there would be no ongoing access to the seller, as you say Larry can't get help from the Mods because it isn't his account.

I think the first thing most people in this situation would do is change those details so they had full control of the account, I don't think that an unreasonable assumption.

There is still intelligent life on this forum! I’m shocked.

EDIT: Actually I just saw you were the one who started the whole conspiracy that I was hiding some ultra shady post on a Microsoft update thread then you flip flopped and had a moment of clarity.............

If you must know I said something negative about Microsoft in that post and didn't want it associated with Larry because as far as I knew, I would email him the details and he would start using it....................

The username and password I gave Larry is the one I’m still using to log in this account and it’s working fine for me. If anyone wants the username and password to this account to test the theory PM me. I’m getting tired of being on the brunt end of Larry’s lies. All I was trying to do was help the situation not to be in the middle of multiple conspiracy theories.......

Bandlab probably wants to prevent everyone selling their accounts and creating new accounts to continue using the forums! Selling accounts is against the terms! This forum was created for users of Cakewalk products! It’s now impossible to purchase Cakewalk products! Larry is upset because Bandlab isn’t helping him break their terms, he sold his account (breaking terms) and now wants them to create him a new account....

In closing, if Larry “misses everyone” Larry can either TAKE THIS ACCOUNT, or not, stop getting angry with Bandlab for doing nothing wrong.

If you on the other hand, miss Larry, GO TO THE OTHER FORUM! This really isn’t difficult!

I for one don’t want to be apart of this forum anymore, I’m trying to help and everyone is so petty and conspiratorial. The amount of replies along the lines of “yeah you would only edit a post to edit spelling” is laughable. What do you edit when you’re giving away your account?

I’ve lost enough brain cells, this thread is dead.

What I'm surprised by is why I'm not seeing more of you over on Beyond My Daw - where Larry is actively posting Deals just as he always has and the list is growing every day.

It's not like he's not putting in the effort.  He's still helping us all with Deal info over there.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

I jumped over there when CW bit the dust and I liked the "generic" DAW approach. But when the deals forum kept going here, I kind of moved back because the traffic was here and keeping up with TWO deals forums is just too much. :)    Here we go again....

Agree with you Lawajava. I went over to the other site and was actively participating. IOW, doing the same thing I do here. But for some reason I can no longer log in over there on my Surface Pro which is what I am using at the moment. I haven't tried my other machines yet to see if it's an account thing or just something with the Surface. Point is, I have resigned myself to following Larry over to the other forum if that's where he choses to post.

As far as notcclarry, I am in no way contributing to any theory about you. I just stated what I do. It's now obvious to me why you edited a post that old. Makes perfect sense. At one time I thought you were Tim who offered Larry an account at first. But I also thinking that you are the guy that was out to prove that an account name and email could be changed. What I haven't done is gone back and read all the posts again to see if the two people are the same guy. It just ain't worth the time! Point is here, I meant no harm to anyone. Not trying to stir the pot or create tension.

I am over there on a regular basis. I don't post much. But I was starting to leave my thoughts on some of the sales Larry was posting, then I couldn't log in anymore over the last several days. So I haven't posted in a few days.

But I have taken a liking to the Playing Now thread. Have come across some really good music there.

BD, if they wanna come, they can. If not, I will be there. Sure would be fun with the whole group though
