Last Communication 2008

Last Communication 2008

I imagine the worst fate for a human being is to be drifting alone in space with no one around for millions of miles.

On his final day, he will open up his heart and confess all his beliefs and thoughts. But no one will be around to hear them, and his memories will fade away in the vast emptiness of space.

Nice composition - the idea you describe definitely comes across in this song - I felt like I was drifting alone in space.

The mix sounded great on my rig.

    Thanks for posting.

This is a nice piece. Evokes a lot of different images. Beauty in lonliness at the same time.... Fading into black....

... then back into white and a sense of the infinite... time ever lasting, the start and end of the universe in the blink of an eye...

    very cool...

while the spectrum analyzer was showing a lot of low end information, I was not hearing it. It also seemed a bit "presency"... a bit too much mid-range for my tastes.

I will have to listen to this again on the system with the sub as it rolls the bass off differently then my daw monitors and my reproduce what these monitors are not --- not hearing much bass may be affecting the perception of too much mid...

    Cheers

I think you captured what you set out to capture very well, which in itself is extremely cool IMO. Great job!

Really cool song. I like the way you developed the theme and the rhythm really rocked.

Pas, nice job of telling the story through the music. Lots of emotion coming through. Glad you posted this.
