Dave - did you upgrade to X2 or are you sticking with X1 for a while?

Well... This will be my first experience with X1.  I held off initially because of the myriad of problems I saw reported here on the forums.  I bought it back in the Spring and am just getting around to installing it now.  I would like to upgrade to X2 as well, but one step at a time.  I'm also concerned because I'm still running Win XP.  Not sure if X2 will play well with X2.  If not, it may be time for a new PC.

The unwritten rule is that from user indications it plays well with XP 64 bit not sure about 32. I don't think Cake stand behind that OS anymore but I could be wrong.

It is unfortunate but a large percentage of folks only show up if there is a problem with their software, we don't hear as much from the happy people and I guess that's a good thing if they are making music instead.

FWIW I installed X1 when it came out and have never had any serious issues. A lot of others use features that I apparenly don't need or use and they have had problems with some of those features. Having said that I have used MOST of the features in X1 with no problems. Being a later adopter has some advantages in that a lot of improvements have been made to it since the release. Good Luck!!
