This article is years and years old. Besides all it says is use ASIO drivers and buy faster hardware. Gee, that's not anything new or interesting .....

By which you obviously mean SOLUTIONS THAT WORK then Pedro?

Why don't you tell me your modern way of how to get latency down to an acceptable level then PP - now THAT would be interesting!

Actually SOS had a very recent update to controlling latency on XP and a very good series of articles on Vista and WaveRT. There is now also a good section in Guitar World that hs been running on DAW and recording guitars. The unfortunateness is that SOS has made the viewing of the articles chargeable and I think that the articles in GW are print only.

This crap is a year old too. Interesting reading but not really practical. They don't address the issue of inefficient Guitar Tracks code either.

    I do believe you're right.

Now if me and my good mate, the Doctor ['Who' or 'Hollingsworth'] can ripple another 33 times we can have a par-tay the scale of which GT has never known!

No I didn't receive anything at all. I had to go to the store and fund my own Guinness habit. even though some chap from Worcester owes me three kegs and a pint. You can't expect me to go dry , now do you?
