Latest Platinum update killed my MP3 encoder

Finally got around to installing the latest update from SPLAT, but when I went to export a file for emailing as an MP3 the LAME MP3 encoder option was gone completely. Not a huge deal, I was able to use the external encoder configuration utility to set it up again, but this is strange, never happened before.

    Weird.  Have you tried reinstalling the encoder?

    You haven't lived until you've taken the Rorschach.

    Yep, minor PITA but this has never happened before with a SPLAT update.

    Like you say, minor PITA.   Not a deal breaker, but nothing you want to discover while you're trying to make an MP3.
