Latest Sweetwater Catalog has SepticTank3 in it...

    Lead time on print catalogs is 3-4 months, so getting the timing right for new releases is difficult. For years that catalog consistently featured a version of SONAR you could no longer buy. I think CW started slowing releases just to let Sweetwater catch up. 


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Guitar Center and Musicians Friend both sent me physical hard catalogs for Q1 14 and they both have Sampletank 3 listed in them and no release date listed.
     
    IK has already stated that the price Guitar Center had listed and that Musicians Friend listed were incorrect pricing.
     
    Both catalogs also listed the Roland FA06 and FA08 workstations as being available and they aren't and wont' be available to purchase until April 2014.
     
    happens all the time with publishing.

    It was included in the 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013 catalogues.

    Yup...I know that...but it's a new "line in the sand" for release...and the sands seem to keep shifting for ol IK.  I mean it's one thing to fool us ol Sonar forumites but quite another to fool one of the largest retailers around.  Or not;-)

    I dont know what SAND it is ,but its sure not QUICK SAND.

    How much is it listed for in the Sweetwater catalog? Same "mistake" price as guitar center?

    Beards & Hats are usually circumspect about offering merchandise on speculation. Their last catalog they didn't feature X3 though they missed it by a couple weeks. It's not that they didn't know though, they were discounting existing X2 stocks. Nice folks.
