Latest X1 Mix with my metal band Beneath the Surface

i am kind of new to mixing so let me know if anything catches your ear. There is some foul language.

    Damn Dude, after listening to that, I just went out and beat up my neighbor!!! LOL!!!
     
    Really like the drum sound and guitar sound. Bass seems like it could come up in the mix...
     
    Performance and arrangement is excellent imho!!!

    hey Chris
    nice mix dude. although a metal fan, i'm not big on that LoG/almost deathcore style metal, but you pretty much have evrything going on right here. some nice riffs, and the vocals are bang on for the genre. love the bass guitar. the vocals almost have an Obituary feel at times, which is pretty much heavier than the music. Mix is pretty damn good. in fact, i have to say that the production is excellent, but not quite sure what genre you fit into, there's a bit of death, a dash of thrash, a little 'core, even some Southern swamp at times...the 2nd half of the song is very different to the first...cool though

    Awesome! Totally loved it. Drums were super clean. Nice mix. I agree, structurally, it was so-so, could be improved. Vocals were badass!
