Latest song from SquareSpiral - "Nothing I can do"

Hi there,

Long time Sonar user, but never posted a song link here before. Would love you all to take a listen and to hear your feedback.
Recently have mostly been producing either songs for others or royalty free backing tracks, but this is a home grown song co-written a few years back with my brother that we never got around to recording.

Cheers!

Link works! It's a cool dance tune, I'd say late eighties feel, which I quite like. If you add a chorusy piano breakdown, you are in Simple Minds territory! I thought your background vocals added a lot. The bouncing synth bass is present yet controlled, nice job there.

Interesting tune.  I like the beat.  I give it an 9 to dance to.   That keyboard run about 2:30 was really cool.  It's one of those tunes that the more I listened the more I liked it.  Welcome to the forum.

Sounds OK here, nice engaging tune with, as Warren(Evadianepug) says a danceable feel, the only thing with the mix for me was it all sounded a bit on top of everything in some places, but I suppose you could call that radio ready

Thanks for all the listens, comments and warm welcome guys!

Tune definitely has an early 90's feel to it - if I recall correctly the inspiration for it was Sweet Harmony by the Beloved, so it figures really.

Yup... solid dance tune.   The mix is a bit bright, but in a good way for the style IMO.   Comes across well.  Catchy chorus melody too.
