Latest track, Mistakes
Hi! This is my latest and it took a long time to finish. You may still (or probably) find some or many things to correct so I am willing to to do that if you share your wisdom here too. P.S. the track name was first something else, quite innocent I believed but I decided to check it and the name could be understood as a slang expression so I changed it and as it was a mistake to use the earlier name I decided the current name was a fitting name to use instead. P.S. 2 I forgot to mention that I mixed with headphones, Sennheiser 407s. https://soundcloud.com/madrigal7/mistakes-2

Nice work, Annti! Good mix of synth tones, nice melodies, and a solid groove to keep things moving. Overall I think it's one of your more "complete" tunes.

Thank you Steve. I think that my new material is inferior to some of my older stuff. Although i have learned some tricks i prefer the older stuff's melodies that i have posted in Soundcloud, although some older melodies i have posted are not so good either. Anyway thank you for your comment.

Very melodic and slightly melancholy Antti, your trademark I think. This one reminds me a little of Pandora's Box by OMD. You should hook up with a singer, these tracks are crying out for vocals.

Thank you James. I gotta check out the OMD song. Imo my current tracks are not well suited for singing, although i can be wrong.

Hey, I enjoyed this -- very solid mix and a good listening experience. Since everytime I review one of your pieces, I always go on about how you should hook up with a singer, I won't do that this time -- but I guess I just did. :) Allan ====

Hi. Thank you Allan, glad you liked. Making lyrics is probably too difficult for me and i am shy about contacting a singer.

Very nice sound Antti. It does indeed have a nice melody line and the rhythmic beat keeps one's attention. I agree with James and Allan that you should try your hand at adding lyrics and vocals to some of your songs.

Another well constructed tune, some vocals could be interesting as suggested above. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your comment Wookie. I unfortunately am unable to get vocals for my tunes.

Thank you Daryl. I read from a song writing tips page that it is a good idea to start a tune with chorus chords.

I think your tune is very well mixed. I liked the little percussive elements going on near the sides. It's very pleasant as it is. If you don't want to open yourself up to a vocalist (a sentiment I understand) then what about dropping in some interesting spoken word fragments? You could build up a concept that way, something to go with your really cool track. It's fine, however, just the way it is. Sadly, it reminds me of Pet Shop Boys if they did instrumentals, which they very well may have, I dunno, never got on much with them. cool track all the same. -Tom

Thank you for your comments. Imo it does not resemble the Pet Shop Boys' style but i have listened to their music so maybe i have taken some influences from them. I would like some singer to sing some of my tunes but i am not sure if my stuff is good to sing.
