Led Zeppelin cover .......... All My Love
This is another live recording of the The Tribe I'm working on. Just curious to see how this sounds to you guy's. Bear in mind that its a live recording, one take. No redo's. http://youtu.be/9_YL-5RegA8 I uploaded this to Youtube............ I wanted to use some pic's that where taken that night. I thought it would be cool to put a face with the song. Hope you enjoy ! Tim

Performance is decent, from what I can tell, and seems to recreate the original fairly well (outside from some analog synth sounds that sound a little phoney). Recording quality could probably be improved, though. If you're making 16- or 24-track live recordings (as your signature says), perhaps you could mix your tracks down to a stereo audio mix, and include that stereo audio track with your video? This is a very "mono" piece--as if everything's mixed down to one track.

Not a bad cover for a Zep song. Zep is a high bar indeed. For a live mix, I could hear everything quite well, which is the most important thing. It's surpriseing how many live mixes are not balanced properly. On the EQ.... there is a noticeable mid bump as is common in many "self-recorded" mixes. Perhaps running it through Sonar with a mastering EQ could even that out. I enjoyed the listen and the pics. Thanks

Good guitar work; like the bgvox with the female voice. Don't think I have ever heard that before.

Extremely difficult and daring to give tribute to the complex LZ! So all my hats are off to you guys. Intro instrumentals hooked me well. TBH, I would have preferred a 'focus'd' studio version since this sounds live with all the bleeding verbs and strait vocs ... but this is most daring and excellent, IMHO. Thank you so much for sharing!

zgraf............ thanks for your time to listen and comment. Yes that mix is 21 tracks. My 24 track rigg consist of a Mackie Onyx board and a AlesisHD24. BenMMustech.......thanks for listening, impossible...."Naw"...........difficult , For sure ! lol Guitarhacker........I appreciate you taken the time to listen and give a critic. On this mix I went with a different approach. I started with the live mix, 2ch stright from the board and two mic's put in the crowd. Then blend the 17 mic's on stage. The only EQ that I have applyed with software is HI pass and Low pass filters. I guess I need to go in a cut some mids. Thanks again..........:) jamesyoyo............Thanks for your time, I do appreciate ! I like Sheri's vocal, she adds a nice touch Philip..............Thanks for your nice comment ! I will be recording some studio tracks this winter with the Tribe, but it want be cover's. They have been working on some new orignal material. Tim........:)

I think it is very good. Everyone sounded real clean. It would be hard to judge it really unless we were there. I don't like country music but I don't mind it live with a good band. Nice job!

First off I agree with some of the others.......an epic song and a tall order but I thought you guys pulled it off, I thought the intro was really cool as well. But IMO it almost sounds too clean and dry to me, especially the vocals. All the subtle nuances (reverb, delay) that let you know your listening to a live performance seem to be almost gone. Also, not sure if "zgraf" is talking about the keyboard solo sound, but I thought the keys sounded great until the solo, the actual synth sound just seemed a little thin. But, that's just 2 minor things and have nothing to do with the performance. And again just my honest opinion. Obviously preferences differ. If you're happy with it, that all that really matters! Overall, nice job though, and cool video, I enjoyed it!

For a live recording, it is very good! You must have a very good band. I think the mix need some work but you only have 2ch what else can you do?
