Leftover Aux-Track Remnants?

Anyone experiencing this?

Insert new audio track.
Create new send, output of audio track to a new Aux Track.
Rename Aux Track (or don't...it doesn't really matter).
Delete Aux Track.
Delete Audio Track.
Create new Audio Track.
Create new send.  See the old, deleted Aux Track name in the list.

Even better, you can click on the old, deleted Aux Track name, and Sonar routes the audio to this "invisible/non-existent" Aux Track.

I love it!

If you delete a Aux track and the Pre Send feeding it the patch point will remain until you save and reopen your project, which is why you are able to select it.
I would prefer if Sonar Flushed this from the project immediately, to keep everything clean.

Try This:
1)Insert new audio track
2)Insert pre send to new aux track(AUX1)
3)Rename AUX 1 track to "TEST RENAME"
( this will instantly update the patch point associated with its AUX Track to "TEST RENAME"> but not instantly update the "TEST RENAME" of the feeding Pre Send )
4) Delete AUX 1 track (TEST RENAME)
5) Go to "AUX 1  Pre Send" >then mouse click reassign send > then mouse click / select  TEST RENAME, even though its already selected to force the rename to update.
Result:
A) Crash if you have a large project
B) after you mouse click the AUX 1 Pre Send to TEST RENAME it will not update the "NAME" > once again Go to Aux1 Pre Send click reassign send and notice the patch point is not available anymore as a selection !

B1) I have shown cakewalk that  under certain circumstance a Pre Send left behind can cause a blue circle to appear and under extreme circumstances which i have shown cakewalk also in a video the blue circle will remain and the only way to remove it is to delete the remaining Pre Send that feeds nothing.

Cakewalk has told me that the Blue Circle BUG is in CUE for a future update to be fixed!
I am not sure if they will also fix the renaming BUG which i have also shown them in a video!

Great information.  I'll test out what you have listed as well.  Thanks!

I took a hiatus from Cakewalk because of all the problems.  It's been nothing but pain for me.  I started using Ableton Live 9 Standard as an alternative.  Rock-frickin' solid.  And instantly, I became more creative, but the workflow design inherently slowed me down.  Also, Cakewalk Sonar has a lot of cool features that I missed (e.g. clip FX, easier track bounce-downs, and tons of MIDI control stuff, which Ableton sorely lacks).  So I came back...but now just experiencing little issues/bugs/and crashes that, quite frankly, should not exist.
