Less can be more

Hi all... I'm a full timer (singer) doing the senior circuit. Always looking to downsize the weight of my stuff, think I've finally gotten it down to the minimum (without sacrificing sound quality).

I'm down to using...

1. A laptop to play mp3 backtracks (most of which I produce using Cakewalk, Cool Edit Pro & my vocs).

2. A small 200w "gammers" computer sound setup (Logitec). Cost me $150
Perfect for small venues (I AM impressed). It has two tiny good sounding speakers and a killer base-bin.

3. A Behringer (sp?) Eurorack w/FX. Cost me $85 (On sale... runs about $140).

#2 & 3 fit into a small rolling suitcase.

Awesome...

Peace & harmony
JF

    Do you do "non-participitory" karaoke?

    1973 "A" neck.

    I'd rather be playing Bass:

That's a great post; thank you! I love hearing about real-world music tech; much more interesting to me than the "I-overclocked-and-watercooled-my-CPU-and-got-2-more-tracks-without-crashing" stuff.
