Let's Take a Walk

Here is a version I did with a drunk singer. She tends to sing flat when she drinks. LOL

Well, if she's drunk, then she can sing for me anytime.  Nice recording, and very nice performances.

hehe, nice cover of a christmas classic...

scott, i hear what you're saying about her singing flat, and yes, it does occur..
but she has such a nice velvety voice, it almost doesn't matter...
one thing's for sure, you should do some other 'original' material with her, and set her up with a really good (or really quiet playback) and get her dialed in.
wonderful accompaniment...... great harmonies on the ye ole fiddle.....
    spot on turnarounds.
    and a nice mix.
    merry xmas

She's a little off (not much), but she has a set of pipes.

Let's take a walk?  I was just getting ready to myself!  lol

Anyway, quite nice!  She's got a great voice.  And you're not too shabby yourself on all the other parts.  ;)

Hey Scotty.  Nice effort there, and FWIW, She doesn't sound all that flat to me.  Overall the tune sounds great.

    Lynn,
Thanks! I'll let her know that.

    Gonzo,
Thanks for listening and for your nice comments!

    Robby,
Thanks for checking in! She can belt 'em out, can't she? She doesn't need a mic. She just holds it for show.

    Wookie,
Yeah, I think she had 3 or 4 extra strength margaritas.

    Janet,
Thank you very much! I hope you enjoyed your walk.

    Mark,
Thank you! You are far too kind!

    Frank,
LOL. I ain't gots no mo bass, but I might be able to throw in a trout or two.

    Phil,
    Thanks for the nice review!

    LOL!

This is nice. Lube and all.

Is it me or could the bass be cranked up a tad?

The last three songs I listened to here tonight I couldn't hear the bass on, I hope my ears or monitors ain't going ka-puut.

    Hi,

First seasonal song I've listened to this year.  She appeared to be enjoying herself and it's evident she could be 'pitch perfect' if she chose to be but I think she (and you) got the priorites right - fun first!

I would normally sign off with 'Regards' but in the 'spirit' I'll just say,

    Season's greetings to you both,

    Vincent

    Loads of fun Scotty.

    Thanks for sharing.

By the way, her "flat" sings circles around my simultaneous flats/sharps that I call my "whales mating" vocals.

Sounding pretty excellent for a drunk singer.  She could drink a whole brewery dry and still sound a lot better than me when i'm sober. :-)  Hey, maybe that's the secret. I'll have to get drunk and try singing then. I could'nt sound any worse than i do sober anyway. :-)

Steller performance and production as always Scotty.

    Nice.
