Hopefully some good came out of this.
Does me getting nauseous by all the over-the-top-niceness of everyone count as good? I mean nice is nice, but it seems like everyone is so afraid to risk anyone, gasp, taking offense at something, or, gasp, someone being mock cynical here anymore. I enjoyed it. It reminded me of letting off a stink bomb in the middle of a crowded room. There's always a contigent that will have a good laugh about that kind of thing and another contingent that will react like it's an outrage on a par with kidnapping all their children.

I'm glad I missed that. I'm also glad I've been very busy and missed most of what has been going on here. I hope the mindset doesn't remain the same. Seems to have been a lot of cutting and words can sure cut deep. I would think that as musicians we would all know that we only get one chance to perform the tune right. Maybe the mindset is distorted and folks think they can just "play" whatever they want and fix it later with Melodyn? Maybe they just can't play.

There is one particular fool who tried his best to say something that would anger me... then he " retracted" it as if he thought there was some sort of control-Z that he could execute and start over again with a clean slate. I can't even remember the fool's name anymore... he's "retracted" to me. :-)

You know, there's really only two people here, Bapu and Beagle, who changed and it brought the entire place down, and now everyone else is getting blamed for it. Funny how that goes isn't it? I'm not busting on them, I completely understand why they did, but the reality is all the negativity here is because things aren't the way it was a few weeks ago and it's because they don't post anymore. And what's even sadder is, the people who brought this on haven't hardly posted, even since the forum has been dead and they have all the opportunity in the world to squeeze out their comments. (Steve, not directed at you.) Anyway, unless I misunderstood, according to Bapu there's a secret 'other' place. Hope you guys enjoy yourselves there. Seriously. Not being sarcastic. I mostly agree with you. I have changed. And I'm no longer allowed in the men's locker room at the gym. but let's not go there, it's something I"m trying to forget about. but just to let you and anyone else no, there's not a secret forum - baps was referring to the Cofffee House Band forum - I'm not allowed in there. I hear they have a secret handshake and everything. And I hear that on Saturday nights they get wild and have pillow fights in their jammies and eat ice cream sundaes. without becan!
