I had the download problem with .exe truncated in IE9, but renamimg files was easy fix.  Breverb sounds great.  Clip colors are greatly improved.  I love the Track Auto Zoom feature.  Installing Dim.Pro was little glitchy since it kept telling me I needed v1.5...which is what I have.  I'm not crazy about the 1000s of new loops and one-shots just being loaded into one folder, uncategorized.  It makes the Browser Window horribly long and hard to find a particular loop.

I like the automation lanes, but are the curve node markers a little larger?  They seem a bit blurry until you zoom in quite a bit.

I run 32bit Win7 and only have the 4GB RAM... I already see that this is going to be marginal at best.  I'll have to freeze many tracks and turn off F/X to avoid dropouts and the dreaded "Not Enough Memory" error message when I'm previewing a lot of loops.

Haven't had enough time to negotiate all the other features.....

But so far, I like it!

Good luck!

Tony

This is all sounding pretty awesome. Haven't seen too many serious complaints popping up either. Mayhaps I'll install and make the switch sooner than expected. X1 was great and all but I think X2 is gonna make for a happy Beep.

Rather hear the complaints right now (if they are valid). I suspect so do Cakewalk's QA dept who no doubt are reading every single post right now.

Sure but there ain't nothing wrong with hearing about the good stuff too. Besides, so far there don't seem to be any major out of the gate show stoppers. I only do basic stuff right now anyway so just as long as it's stable I'd like to get to work with it.
