Lexicon LXP does not recognize iLok2 in sonar 8.5.3.282 in windows 8 64bit

hello Music friends, Does any of you have success using Lexicon LXP native bundle in sonar 8.5.3.282 in windows 8 (64 bit home)? I don't. the plugins load, but after a few seconds a warning pops up in the systray telling me there is an authorization error. Seconds later the plugin itself shows "This plugin requires a license on the second generation iLok. please save your work, insert the iLok and restart the application." Other plugins that require iLok however work fine. When I log into Ilok.com it does recognize my iLok and the license for LXP is clearly there. It worked previously in windows XP, so something windows 8 seems to be the problem. I have the latest pace and ilok drivers and the latest versions of the LXP bundle. I have already tried running sonar in administrator mode, and also installed the plugins in compatibility mode. I also tried 32- and 64-bit installations. Running out of ideas now I am communicating with lexicon on this issue but since this this did not yet yield anything useful i thought I'd try here too. Thanks

Quad, sonar 8.5 SE, triton, jv-1010, nx5r, emu 1820, krk rp5, xenyx something, focusrite trakmaster, toneport ux2, ultrafocus, machfive, IK... wait... why am I saying all this?

    Wittenberg...

Make sure you've updated your Ilok Clienthelper and Ilok Driver software to the latest versions...

    That should solve your problem...

I have no issues with them....

Another thing...now that you are using Windows 8, you MUST use the 32 bit version of
Internet Explorer to download your licenses from Ilok.com

    It's located in C:\program files(x86)\Internet Explorer

The 64 bit browser(s) will not work...

    Just an FYI

Also, you may get the message when installing the Ilok drivers that it's not compatible with
Win 8.  There will be a 'More Info" option.  Click on that and press the "install anyways" button that appears...

    Cheers!
